About ArtAid 2011
ArtAid 2011 was intended to be a landmark event to mark the 50th Anniversary of War on Want NI. Despite the challenging economic conditions, it was a tremendous success.

•  We held an impressive week-long exhibition in OBG, with works by over 200 artists from all over Ireland. It was very well received by artists and public alike
•  We hosted two receptions attended by over 600 people
•  We had some excellent marketing and media coverage including a high quality catalogue
•  We sold 95 individual pieces…almost half the 215 works
•  Just over 40 of the 80 auctioned pieces went under the hammer, but a further 50 + were sold “off the wall” during the exhibition
•  War on Want NI has made a net income of £30,000 from this event
