War on Want NI offers a wide range of fundraising opportunities for all ages that you can become involved in. And you will get the chance to meet new people in a friendly and rewarding environment.

The Bush Tucker Challenge

Belfast Activity Centre (BAC), Barnett’s Demense (near Malone House), Belfast Sunday 5th April 2009

The Bush Tucker Challenge is a series of outward bound challenges where contestants collect as many golden stars as possible in a bid to become the Champions of the Bush Tucker Challenge.

Challenges include:  Drop of Doom - The Creepy Cave Challenge -  Blindfold Search

This event is suitable for people of all abilities and is supervised by trained staff.   Contestants receive souvenir daredevil head-bands and the event will culminate in the crowning of the Bush Tucker Champions!

Participants must raise a minimum of £100 sponsorship to support War on Want NI.
Contestants can register as individuals or as teams of six.

If you would like to organise you own event to benefit War on Want NI, we can provide a range of materials to assist in promoting your event and communicate how the funds raised will help people living in poverty.

Fundraising in the workplace, schools and groups

For fundraising in workplaces, War on Want NI can provide guidance and promotional material to make your fundraising event memorable and successful.

For fundraising with schools, War on Want NI can provide presentations appropriate to various key-stages with back-up resources.

If you are part of an existing group or society, we can provide materials to help promote your event and explain how your fundraising will help provide sustainable solutions to alleviate poverty.
